Thirukkural quiz competition event was held recently in Rasipuram Paavai Educational Institutions organisesd by Paavai Tamil Forum. It was presided over by Auditor N.V. Natarajan, Chairman of paavai Educational Institutions. Correspondent of the institute Mangai Natarajan presence. Divya Trisha, a second year student of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, College of Engineering, welcomed the gathering.
Manimekalai Ramamurthy, a Tamil scholar and a professor of physics at the University of Florida, USA, participated as a special guest. In this event Special guest Dr. Manimegalai Ramamurthy speaking at the function said, ‘It is a welcome activity to organize this Thirukkural literature quiz competition so that the students realize the importance of Tamil literature and know the importance of Thirukkural. Its epitome is the unique feature of Thirukkural based on the oldest language, Tamil. It includes all things necessary for life like God greetings, language greetings, friendship, love, domesticity, family, procreation, management, material possessions, medicine.
So Tirukkural is a biographical book. So you should follow Thirukkural in your lifestyle. Along with that, Thirukkural should be memorized daily and its meaning should be deeply understood. It will guide you to overcome any difficulties and obstacles in life. Students can always live contentedly if they act neutrally without being engrossed in pleasure and unencumbered by suffering. He said that all of you young students should convey the excellence of Thirukkural to the society and try to create a wonderful society. Thirukkural quiz competition was followed. The Kural competition was held between two teams namely Mullai team and Marutham team. In the end, Mullai team came first and Marutham team came second. Then the winners of the competition were given certificates and cash prize . College directors, principals and professors including event coordinator Mohan participated in the program.
